Alleged rape of a young girl by policemen proves a fake

Last autumn, Hungary was shaken by the news: a young girl called Zsanett accused five policemen of raping her in a police car, after her car was stopped for a routine check early morning in the downtown of Budapest. Later several sources revealed that she was known as a notorious liar, and it was not the first time she accused someone of harassment. A picture of her spread over the internet, showing her posing with a dancing pole. The policemen confessed that the girl seemed disturbed when they stopped her, so it was a reasonable decision to take her home.
The case served as a proof of police brutality, and as such, an argument against the left-wing government in the hands of the right-wing protestants.

The latest statement of the jury underlined that most evidences - phone calls and mobile cell data and recordings of the surveillance cameras - prove the innocence of the policemen. On the other hand, she may be sued as well for dragging the policemen through the mire.
